Reliant Care has access to a large portfolio of 145 Properties in Specialist Supported Housing which is available at short notice. The areas covered are in North West London covering the areas of Harrow, Ealing, Hounslow, Hillingdon, Hammersmith, Brent, Hammersmith, and Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea. Our property portfolio has been acquired from building secure and lasting relationships with landlords and we have built a good reputation in the field. Thus, we are able to provide long term leasing and more secure tenancy agreements ranging from 2 to 5 years. We have an interest in our properties be it leased or owned and most of our NHS Continuing Health Care clients receive a 5 year AST. We can arrange the transportation of clients from any part of the UK including the use of specialised vehicles.
We have high-quality trained staff – our own in-house Training Management Team is highly proficient in all areas of staff training and induction processes including e-learning as well as face-to-face lessons. We also provide in-house apprenticeships, NVQs and Master’s Degrees, and this has proved popular with staff progression and retention. Among the extensive training which we provide to all of our staff, there is de-escalation training with positive interventions, to assist staff to support clients with challenging behaviour. Reliant Care has also secured a sponsorship license, which allows us to recruit and secure employment for qualified candidates whenever a vacancy arises.
The acclaimed and popular Supported Employment schemes at Reliant Care are offered to all service users that wish to apply, these schemes promote a person-centred approach to enhancing the quality of life and supporting clients in their journey to independent living. We are members of BASE and run two supported employment schemes for clients in catering and digitization. The catering is in our newly equipped commercial café and training kitchen, where clients will also achieve a Certificate in Food & Hygiene Level 2, from studying with our in-house Food Tech Trainers.
